This week at Fruit Loops v. 1
Hi! It’s our first blog post! I’m trying something new. Something less soul-sucking. The other day, I realized I’ve been on Facebook for 17 years. Instagram for 12. I’m ready to do something different. Growing up with socializing on the internet (AIM, MSN messenger, MySpace!) was an easy in to marketing on the internet. It’s natural to me to share things all the time. A couple of things have been bothering me - the fight to focus when I need to do something on social media and the fact that the kids at fruit loops can’t interact with what we have on social media because we don’t want them on social media!
I’m coming back to blogging and ready to see where that takes us!
This week, Courtney added more festive lights! We got some great bundles of used lights from Gorge ReBuildit.
I finished the rest of the iron on t-shirts for our shop! We have some baby sizes, adult smalls and mediums, and stickers!
I’ve been dreaming a bit about spray paint - graffiti, air brushing, etc! We love Frankie on Artfully Designed (show from Magnolia Network).
This artwork kept catching my eye at Riverdaze this week!
I got to sit in for art collective this week and their armatures for papier mache are coming along! Their art journal time seems to be their favorite. Each week, they pick a prompt and respond to it in their journal.
We had a fun camp on Monday all about artist Alma Thomas! A huge thank you to Courtney for stepping in to run the camp since I was under the weather. 🩷
Have a great week!
